Vision is the ability to see what it is that we really want in life and to believe that it can be achieved. This involves much more than JUST thinking about possible outcomes. It involves more than JUST thinking about and setting goals for ourselves.
We can’t really believe a desirable outcome can be achieved until we can discipline ourselves to learn the skills of thoroughly visualize it, including the smells and colors and textures, but most importantly, how you feel in that moment.
Our minds are more powerful than you think. But it takes focused practice.
When I started visualizing, all sorts of negative self-talk showed up. That’s normal. But keep visualizing it anyways. Pretended that you already have it today, and tell yourself how you feel. What does it look like? What are some sounds? Give yourself 10 minutes a day to visualize that. Twice if you want it manifest twice as fast.
Even imagine how others will react to the achievement of our goal. Let’s get as specific as we possibly can get. It becomes a vision, something that imprints emotionally.
Here’s a word of caution. If anything or anyone (anyone includes you) stops us from taking action the outcome will change. It’s critical to keep our eye on that desired outcome. To stay focused.
And of course this isn’t all magic where all of a sudden a pile of cash is going to automatically appear the moment you think of it. Some other thoughts would be pretty scary, actually. Because then you truly have to be careful what you wish for – which, ultimately, you should anyways.
Point is, it’s going to take time. But here’s what happens in the process. By visualizing on a consistence basis, it opens up your mind to new ideas, new opportunities, which can attract certain people in your life that will be the very stepping stone to get you to your desired outcome.
Those with closed minds won’t be able to get there.
Yes, some ideas and opportunities will fail. And some people will come and go. But you don’t leave empty handed. You now have a valuable lesson as you continue on your journey to meeting your goal.
So my suggestion to you, as I’m sure you may have heard this somewhere before, is to make as many mistakes as you possibly can and meet as many people as you possibly can.
The impossible becomes possible to those that believe. Believing is the first action step.
Sometimes we have to take action based on a belief in something that is real that we can’t yet see.
If we can imagine it with enough detail to propel our actions, we will eventually … see.
Clear vision is crucial to increasing our true self so we can acquire and experience #TrueFreedom
